Creed Outdoor LearningCreed Outdoor Learning are part of Swale Youth, we run an open youth night on Thursday evenings from 7-9 at The Faversham Baptist Church Hall, we promote this club through the Swale Youth Facebook page and we recently started a Creed Youth Facebook page
When lockdown is over we will also hopefully be running a new club on a Friday night at The Faversham Recreation Ground (Pavilion) We have run Friday nights in Faversham for the past eight years and as part of the Swale Youth commissioned work, we have to run something for young people over the weekend (Friday -Sunday) our Friday night club always attracted around fifty young people with some nights attracting eighty plus but for reasons beyond our control the Friday nights were taken over by WFCC in December 19. Creed Outdoor Learning runs outdoor educational and adventurous activities for schools and youth organisations, including climbing, archery, physical and mental challenges, team building, environmental activities, overnight camping experiences and much more. This includes activities run during school holidays around Swale at Milton Creek Country Park, Oare Gunpowder Works and at our site (which was at Bredgar but is now a new site at Teynham). So at present during lockdown we are not running face to face work, we are always here for young people to talk to and ask advice and we occasionally post on social media, however we can see that mainly it is adults that follow our pages, not so much young people. About the Kent Army Cadets
For action and adventure, fun and friendship, the Army Cadet Force is hard to beat. With nearly 39,000 cadets (aged 12-18) and 9,000 adults in over 1,600 locations in every corner of the United Kingdom, the ACF is one of the country’s largest voluntary youth organisations. It is also one of the oldest tracing its history back to 1859.
Your local Detachment is in Faversham and our parade nights are Monday and Thursday at The Cadet Centre, Stone Street, Faversham.
Many young people are missing out on the challenges and adventures that could transform their lives but joining the Army Cadets can change that. We welcome boys and girls (aged over 12 and in at least year eight at school) of all abilities and backgrounds. When they join us we encourage them to learn more, do more and try more. We inspire them to aim high and pursue their goals, no matter what they aim to do in life.
Some of our activities have a military theme, others have more of a community focus but they all inspire young people to challenge their limits, become more independent, confident and able to step up to any challenge.
The Army Cadet Force is one of four cadet organisations sponsored and supported by the Ministry of Defence, the others being the Combined Cadet Force, the Sea Cadet Corps, and the Air Training Corps. Although they are sponsored by the Ministry of Defence there is no obligation on cadets to join the Armed Forces.

Hope Faversham Youth
Hey! We are Hope Faversham Youth, a youth group made up of four different churches in the town. We believe that God loves the young people of the town and that God has given every young person amazing potential to make this world a better place.
Every Wednesday during term time we have a meal together, support and care for each other, play games and listen to what God says.
We also go on trips together and have socials throughout the term. In the past we have had a Domino pizza night, bowling night, and been to London and had a day away in Chartham Hatch.
Everyone from 11 years old to 18 years old are very welcome! We are at Faversham Baptist Church every Wednesday during term time, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

COVID-19 UPDATE:
We are actually meeting together still but just virtually. We have a Zoom meeting every Wednesday evening from 7:00pm-8:00pm. Anyone is welcome to join but they will have to get in touch with us so that we can get consent from parents and send them the Zoom meeting information.
